When I arrived home today I found the most delightful surprise in my mailbox. An issue of the Pentacle - UK's leading pagan magazine, which on page 43 features a drawing of mine as an illustration to an article about the Wild Hunt.

It's the first time I've ever had anything published so I'm wicked happy about it and this is all thanks to DA where the art director of the magazin came across my artwork.

Thank you DA and even more so thank you Pentacle Magazine!

Art student from Denmark. I like to experiment with all sorts of materials when it comes to drawing, I suppose I've yet to really find my niché, until I do it's just having as much fun as possible exploring all the options.

I hope to become a professional artist some day but I've still a long way; practice, practice, pratice. :)

Kiri- Thank you for the faves. Congratulations on your piece in print. One of many I'm sure. I really enjoy your gallery. My favorites are: "Mothman", "Traveling" & "Pan's Girlfriend". They all have wonderful detail. Your work has a whimsical, phantasmical feel to it. P.S. I met Brian Froud a couple of years ago here in Los Angeles at a book signing event. I was so in awe of him that I don't believe I said anything of any merit. He was so gracious, signing the three or four books that I had of his. That will be you before you know it, autographing books for admiring fans. All the best.

In creating art, we should approach it with the same intensity, purposefulness, and sensitivity that a spider does when making its web.

Aww, thank you very much for your kind words, Dan. I can only hope that one day my work will reach the hearts of people as that of Brian Froud has done. I would certainly be most delighted to also meet him some day but I doubt he plans of make Denmark one of his stops, who knows though :)

Bad art is more tragically beautiful than good art 'cause it documents human failure.
:iconkiriostergaard:
Thanks for making awesome art!
